Description
| - This project concerns experimental and theoretical investigation of reactions of ions in the gaseous phase and in collisions with surfaces. By combining several experimental methods, detailed information on kinetics (SIFTmethod, mass spectrometric methods) and dynamics (scattering in crossed beams) of these processes can be obtained. The object of this investigation include kinetics and dynamics of proton, hydride ion, and charge transfer processes in cation-molecule collisions and determination oproton affinities of the molecules, and dynamics of charge transfer and chemical reactions of molecular dications. Another part concerns collisions of slow ions with surfaces covered by self assembled monolayers (SAM-surfaces) with the aim of characterising energy transfer and chemical reactions at the surfaces. - Projekt se týká experimentálního a teoretického výzkumu reakcí iontů v plynné fázi a ve srážkách s povrchy. Kombinace několika experimentálních metod umožní podrobný výzkum kinetiky (metoda SIFT, metody hmotnostní spektrometrie) i dynamiky (rozptyl v paprscích částic) těchto procesů. Výzkum se soustředí na kinetiku a dynamiku elementárních reakcí přenosu protonu, hydridového iontu a procesu přenosu náboje ve srážkách kationtů s molekulami a určení protonové afinity těchto molekul jakož i na výzkum dynamiky procesů přenosu náboje a chemických reakcí molekulových dikationtů. Další část se týká srážek pomalých iontů s povrchy, pokrytými samouspořádanými monovrstvami (SAM-povrchy) s cílem charakterizovat přenos energie a chemické reakce s povrchem. Otázky objasňování struktury složitých molekul budou studovány metodami hmotnostní spektrometrie. Teoretickými výpočty budou doplněny potřebné informace o energetice a struktuře reagujících částic.
