- Práce na navrhovaném projektu má přinést nové poznatky z oblasti buněčné a molekulární biologie a fyziologie, důležité jak z hlediska základního výzkumu (poznání některých regulačních mechanismů růstu, diferenciace a transformace buněk) tak i kliniky (buněk na cytostatickou léčbu).Výsledky výzkumného záměru mají umožnit identifikaci molekulárních cílů a buněčných regulačních procesů, umožňujících predikci, časnou diagnostiku, průběžné sledování rozvoje onemocnění a specifický a individualisovaný přía solidních neoplasií. Dalším cílem je též návrh nových biologicky aktivních látek interferujících s nádorovou progresí, jak na úrovni samotné transformované buňky, tak i ovlivněním imunitního systému. Spolupráce teoretických a klinických pracovišť několumožňuje komplexní multidisciplinární přístup řešení výzkumného záměru.

| - VZ přinesl nové poznatky u solidních i hematologických nádorů od úrovně základního výzkumu až po jejich klinické využití. Umožnil spolupráci všech LF UK, ÚHKT i AV. Výsledkem je 231 článků v časopisech s IF, 1 patent a 574 citací, 8 prof., 6 doc. řízení a 37 PhD. Finanční prostředky byly čerpány v souladu s plánem. Byla vyvinuta a je testována látka s protinádorovým působením. (cs)
- The project extended knowledge in solid and hematological tumors from basic to clinical research. The funds allowed successful collaboration of Charles University Medical Faculties, IHBT and Academy of Science. 231 papers were published in IF journals; 8 Prof.; 6 Assoc. Prof.; and 37 Phd. titles and several prestigious awards were obtained. A new substance with anticancer effect was developed. (en)
