Description	We identified the PPARGC1A and FRMD5 genes as mutant p53R273H targets regulated by binding to intronic and intra-genic sequences. We propose a model that attributes the oncogenic functions of mutp53 to its ability to interact with intronic and intergenic non-B DNA sequences and modulate gene transcription via re-organization of chromatin. (en) Zjistili jsme, že geny PPARGC1A a FRMD5 jsou regulovány vazbou mutantního proteinu p53 R273H na intronové a intragenové sekvence. Na základě získaných výsledků navrhujeme model, ve kterém je onkogenní chování mutantního proteinu p53 závislé na jeho schopnosti interagovat s intronovými a intergenovými sekvencemi tvořícími sekundární struktury DNA a schopnosti modulovat transkripci genů přes reorganizaci chromatinu.
