Description
| - The goal is to obtain new pieces of knowledge on the structure of gnoseologically or practically important substances and on the links between their structure and physico-chemical properties. To this end will serve development and application of methods of quantum chemistry and of experimental methods involving different spectroscopies, autoemission and tunneling microscopy, mass spectrometry and collision analysis, catalytic measurements, and electrochemical methods providing clarification of phenomena at liquid/liquid interfaces, of the mechanism of electrode reactions, electrochemical syntheses and electrochemical sensors operation. The extended research plan further includes the measurement and interpretation of fluorescence, laser, UV-Vis and %22selected ion flow tube%22 spectra of substances relevant for biology and for environment and its protection. Electrochemical methods will be used for investigation of carbon nanostructures with potential importance for microelectronics. (en)
- Cílem je získání nových poznatků o struktuře gnoseologicky či prakticky významných látek a o souvislostech struktury s jejich fyzikálně-chemickými vlastnostmi na molekulární úrovni. K tomu budou vyvíjeny a použity kvantově chemické výpočetní metody, a experimentální metody zahrnující různé druhy spektroskopií, autoemisní a tunelovací mikroskopii, hmotnostní spektrometrii a srážkovou analýzu, katalytická měření pro zjišťování mechanismu katalytických reakcí, a elektrochemická měření pro objasňování jevů na kapalných rozhraních, elektrodových reakcí, elektrochemických syntéz a funkce elektrochemických sensorů. Rozšířený výzkumný záměr dále zahrnuje měření a interpretaci fluorescenčních, laserových, UV-Vis a %22selected ion flow tube%22 hmotnostních spekter látek významných pro biologii, pro procesy probíhající v životním prostředí, a pro odstraňování jeho znečištění. Elektrochemickými metodami bude prováděn výzkum uhlíkových nanostruktur potenciálně významných zejména pro mikroelektroniku.
