  • Inversní opál z anatasu byl připraven jak v práškové formě tak i ve formě tenkých filmů pomocí templátování polystyrenovými kuličkami. Čtyři různé metody byly použity k deposici TiO2 uvnitř templátu: anodická oxidativní hydrolýza TiCl3, depozice z roztoku (NH4)2TiF6 a z isopropoxidu titaničitého v plynné fázi nebo v propanolovém roztoku. Nejlepších výsledků bylo dosaženo při aplikaci elektrochemické deposice z roztoku TiCl3. Rastrovací elektronová mikroskopie a měření fotonického stop-pásu pomocí optických spekter dokazuje smrštění porů asi o 30 procent ve srovnání s průměry polystyrenových kuliček. Inversní opál z anatasu vykazuje pomalejší inserci lithia ve srovnání s anatasem, který má těsnější uspořádání nanokrystalů. (cs)

The four different methods employed for the TiO2 deposition were anodic oxidative hydrolysis of TiCl3, liquid-phase deposition from(NH4)2TiF6 solution, and deposition from titanium(IV) isopropoxide either in the vapor phase or in propanolic solution. Electrochemical preparation from TiCl3 gave the best results. The pores were narrower by ca 30% compared to the nominal size of latex spheres, as documented by scanning electron microscopy and by the position of the stop band in the optical spectrum. The anatase inverse opals exhibit sluggish electrochemical performance for Li-insertion compared to nontemplated anatase with more dense packing of nanocrystals.
