Description	The project aims to ivestigate practices which would enable to reduce the risk of nitrate losses from agricultural systems in water resource areas in the frame of the socio-economically appropriate limits. This will be achieved by linking field trials with airborne image spectroscopy. Practices will allow careful management in vulnerable water resource areas and will reduce the costs of drinking water treatment.Partial goals:- to prepare certified methodology for determining of nitrate losses in the certain soil depth- by compiling results from image spectroscopy methods in the area of interest and spectral characteristics of small-scale experiments to evaluate the heterogeneity of vegetation as a result of different nutritional regime of crops caused by the heterogeneous soil environment- to create a map of vulnerability of arable land by nitrate leaching and to formulate method of appropriate agriculture management in order to minimize leaching of nitrates into groundwater also with regard to clima (en) Cílem projektu je ověřit postupy, které umožní v socio-ekonomicky únosných mezích snížit rizika úniku nitrátů ze zemědělských systémů v oblastech zdrojů pitné vody. Tohoto cíle bude dosaženo na základě propojení polních pokusů s leteckou obrazovou spektroskopii. Postupy umožní šetrné hospodaření ve vodohospodářsky zranitelných územích a povedou ke snížení nákladů na úpravu pitné vody.Dílčí cíle: - vytvoření certifikované metodiky k operativnímu stanovení úniku dusičnanů v určité hloubce půdy - metodami obrazové spektroskopie zájmového území a spektrálních charakteristik maloplošných pokusů zhodnotit „heterogenitu“ porostů jako důsledek různého výživného režimu plodin, způsobený heterogenním půdním prostředím- vytvořit mapu zranitelnosti orných půd vyplavováním dusičnanů a metodiku hospodaření s cílem minimalizace úniku dusičnanů do podzemních vod i s ohledem na klimatické změny (např. déletrvající sucho)
