Description	The homologous series of ferroelectric liquid crystals S-(-)-4-(2-n-alkoxypropionyloxy) biphenyl-4´-n-alkoxy-3,5-dimethyl-benzoate have been investigated by polarizing microscopy and x-ray studies. Several binary mixtures were prepared. The enantiotropization of the mesophases and broadening of the ferroelectric SmC* phase has been established for binary mixtures. An intercalated tail-to-tail packing of the molecules, resulting in the decrease of the layer spacing and in the increase of the intermolecular distances compare to the pure compounds has been found. (en) Homologická řada feroelektrických kapalných krystalů S-(-)-4-(2-n-alkoxypropionyloxy) biphenyl-4´-n-alkoxy-3,5-dimethylbenzoátů byla studována pomocí polarizační mikroskopie a roentgenové difrakce. U binárních směsí těchto látek byla pozorována enantiotropizace mezofází a rozšiřování feroelektrické SmC* fáze. Uspořádání molekul s prostupujícími koncovými řetězci vede ke snížení tloušťky smektické vrstvy a zvětšení vzdáleností mezi jednotlivými molekulami ve srovnání s čistými látkami. (cs)
