  • A total of 108 isolates of cucurbit powdery mildew (CPM) fungi, 78 Golovinomyces cichoracearum (Gc) and 30 Podosphaera xanthii (Px), originating from 9 Czech regions and 22 districts of the Czech Republic were collected in the years 2001-2004. These isolates were screened for tolerance and/or resistance to the three frequently used fungicides (fenarimol, dinocap, benomyl). Fungicide sensitivity was determined by a modified leaf-disc bioassay with five concentrations. Fungicide effectiveness was significantly different. Fenarimol was the most effective and all isolates of both CPM were controlled by the recommended concentration (36 mikrog a.i./ml). Some isolates expressed resistance (profuse sporulation) or tolerance (limited sporulation) to lower concentrations (9.6 mikrog a.i. /ml, 18 mikrog a.i. /ml).   • Celkem 108 izolátů padlí tykvovitých (CPM), 78 Golovinomyces cichoracearum (Gc) and 30 Podosphaera xanthii (Px), pocházejících z 9 krajů a 22 okresů České republiky bylo testováno na toleranci, příp. rezistenci ke třem nejčastěji používaným fungicidům (fenarimol, dinocap, benomyl). Sensitivita k těmto fungicidům byla determinována pomocí modifikované metody listových disků a u každého fungicidu bylo testováno pět různých koncentrací. Účinnost fungicidů se výrazně lišila. Fenarimol byl nejúčinnější a všechny izoláty obou CPM byly kontrolovány doporučenou koncentrací (36 mikrog ú.l./ml). Dinocap vykazoval klesající účinnost během let 2001-2004. Jako zcela neúčinný se ukázal benomyl, senzitivita se lišila mezi oběma druhy CPM. Na některých opakovaně navštívených lokalitách byla zaznamenána variabilita v toleranci/rezistenci ke všem testovaným fungicidům v průběhu tohoto výzkumu. (cs)
