| - C-koncové sekvence M-PMV proteasy obsahují motiv bohatý na glycin (G-patch), který váže in vitro jednořetězcové nukleové kyseliny. Ukázali jsme, že tato doména proteasy neovlivňuje štěpení retrovirových polyproteinů, ale je kritická pro infektivitu viru, aktivitu reversní transkriptasy a sbalování nezralých virových částic. Tato doména je důležitá pro D-typ retrovirů. (cs)
- The C-terminal sequences of M-PMV protease contain a glycine-rich motif (G-patch), which binds in vitro to single-stranded nucleic acids. We found that the G-patch domain is not required for the processing of viral polyproteins, but it significantly influences the infectivity of M-PMV, the activity of reverse transcriptase, and assembly of immature capsid within the cells. The evolutionary conservation of the G-patch domain suggests its importance for retroviruses that display D-type morphology.
