Description	The aim of the project is to use standard and new molecular markers of genetic diversity (microsatellites and single nucleotide polymorphisms, respectively) to characterize and to monitor the extent of genetic diversity of selected endangered horse populations in the Czech Republic. The information collected will be used for standardizing the FAO genetic database, for suggesting a panel of IR SNP markers for assessing genetic diversity of populations, and a method of elaborating of a conservation programme in the model population of Old Kladruber horses will be suggested. (en) Stanovit genetickou diverzitu vybraných ohrožených populací koní v nových a standardních markerech. Zpracovat programu na jejich uchování v modelové populaci. Vyrovnat prezentaci genových zdrojů koní v ČR v databazi FAO s ostatními státy.
