Description
| - Novel conjugated polymers and polymers with luminescent, photoconductive, photochromic and mesogenic units will be synthesized and studied. Polymer blends and ordered nanoarrays of active elements will be used to modify photophysical and electrical properties of thin films. Supramolecular structure formation in thin films due to the phase separation of polymer components in blends will be investigated. The self-assembly of block copolymers by microphase separation will be used to generate structures at nanoscopic scale. Thin films with ordered nanoarrays of active elements (luminescent, photochromic, etc.) will be prepared and their optical, photophysical and electrical properties (absorption, reflectivity, photoinduced changes, photo- and electro-luminescence, photoconductivity, charge photogeneration and transport) will be studied to extract the most pronounced and interesting effects for applications and to get information about mechanism of the processes under study. - Budou připraveny a studovány nové konjugované polymery a polymery s luminiscenčními, fotovodivými, fotochromními a mezogenními jednotkami. Užitím polymerních směsí a uspořádaných nanostruktur aktivních elementů bude možné modifikovat fotofyzikální a elektrické vlastnosti tenkých filmů. Bude zkoumáno vytváření supramolekulární struktury v tenkých filmech polymerních směsí, které vzniká důsledkem fázové separace jednotlivých komponent. K přípravě nanostruktur bude využito samouspořádávání blokových kopolymerů. Budou připraveny tenké vrstvy s uspořádanými plochami aktivních elementů (luminiscenčních, fotochromních, aj.) a studovány jejich optické, fotofyzikální a elektrické vlastnosti (absorpce, reflexe, světlem indukované změny, foto- a elektro- luminiscence, fotovodivost, fotogenerace a transport náboje) s cílem najít nové a zajímavé jevy využitelné pro aplikace a získání poznatků o mechanismech studovaných jevů.
