The development of eLearning is a rapidly expanding area of education and it has become a phenomenon in the learning and knowledge society. Many schools and training institutions have adopted some eLearning in their educational programmes. Lot of effort was done in course of analysis, design, development and implementation of eLearning products (e.g. courses, study texts, management). But there are not reported many studies in the area of evaluation. There exist only some research results comparing traditional methods of study with eLearning. We propose to generate model(s) for systematic evaluation of eLearning and determine factors that could potentially influence quality, effectiveness and economy of eLearning. According to our understanding it is necessary to accept a system approach. We will survey measurable characteristics (variables), stored in appropriate database, by statistical methods. We intend to create tools that enable to develop quality eLearning solutions on time and under budget. (en)
Záměrem je předložit model(y) pro systematickou evaluaci eLearningu a stanovit faktory, které mohou ovlivňovat jeho kvalitu, efektivitu a ekonomiku. Jako nejvhodnější se jeví systémový přístup. Vybrané měřitelné vlastnosti prvků systému podrobíme analýze pomocí statistických metod.
