Description
| - The project´s goal is to enhance the existing structural laboratory for the creation of methodological centre of molecular and crystal structure solution by X-ray diffraction of single crystals and to equip it with powerful experimental facility. The parameters of the Centre would enable to fulfil the large demand for structural analysis in scientific projects for physics, chemistry and mineralogy in several years´perspective, as the Centre would enormously enhance Bohemian´s facilities in this field. Thanks to the drastic reduction of experimental time and thus low costs of structure determination, this method will be routinely usable for the determination of geometrical properties of molecules. The membership of excellent structure analysts from several institutions in the MC will guarantee an optimal utilization of the state-of-the-art instrument and a high scientific level of the Centre, which can also serves as a training place for master course and PhD. students. - Cílem projektu je rozšířit stávající pracoviště tak, aby vzniklo metodické centrum pro řešení molekulových a krystalových struktur metodou rtg. difrakce monokrystalů a vybavit je výkonným experimentálním zařízením. Parametry centra jsou voleny tak, aby bylo možné uspokojit potřebu strukturního stanovení pro vědecké projekty z fyziky, chemie a mineralogie v mnohaleté perspektivě, neboť se násobně zvýší výkon celé České republiky v této oblasti. Díky zkrácení doby experimentu a tudíž nízkým provozním nákladům bude moci být toto stanovení používáno jako zcela běžná metoda pro studium geometrických vlastností látek. Členstvím předních pracovníků v oboru strukturní analýzy v MC bude zajištěno optimální využití špičkového přístroje a zároveň vysoká úroveň pracoviště jako školícího místa pro magisterské a doktorandské studium.
