Description
| - Funding is requested for research on the formation and properties of transient molecules in the gas-phase. Nitration and nitrosation of organic radical-cations will be investigated using various mass spectrometric methods. Products of these ion molecule reactions will be used as precursors for generation of elusive neutral molecules relevant to the chemistry of high-energy materials. These species will be generated by fas1 neutralization of ions and studied by neutralization-reionization mass spectrometry (NRMS) combined with high-level theoretical calculations. Pyrolysis and dissociative ionization of suitable organometallic compounds in combination with NRMS will be used to generate and study selected transient organometallic species important in organometallic chemistry and catalysis. The goal of the proposed research is to prepare elusive, but practically important molecules in the gas phase, determine their stabilities and study their physicochemical properties. (en)
- V rámci navrhovaného projektu jsou požadovány finanční prostředky pro výzkum týkající se přípravy a vlastností nestabilních molekul v plynné fázi. Metodami hmotnostní spektrometrie budou studovány nitrace a nitrosace organických kation radikálů. Produktytěchto iontových reakcí budou použity jako prekursory pro přípravu nestabilních molekul důležitých v chemii látek s vysokým obsahem energie. Tyto sloučeniny budou připravovány neutralizací iontů a budou studovány metodou neutralizačně-reionizační hmotnostní spektrometrie (NRMS) v kombinaci s přesnými teoretickými výpočty. Pro přípravu a studium vybraných vysoce reaktivních organokovových sloučenin důležitých v organokovové syntéze a katalýze bude použita pyrolýza a disociativní ionizace vhodných organokovových prekursorů kombinovaná s NRMS. Cílem navrhovaného výzkumu je příprava nestabilních, avšak prakticky důležitých molekul v plynné fázi, zjištění jejich stabilit a studium jejich fyzikálně chemických vlastností.
