Open tubular capillary enzyme reactors were studied for rapid protein digestion. TPCK-trypsin and pepsin A were immobilized directly on the inside wall of a 10 micrometer I.D. capillary and the optimized reactors were tested as the nanospray needles for fast identification of proteins using CE-ESI/TOF-MS.

Práce se zabývá využitím otevřených kapilárních reaktorů s imobilizovanými enzymy pro štěpení proteinů. TPCK-trypsin a pepsin A byly imobilizovány na stěnu křemenné kapiláry o vnitřním průměru 10 mikrometrů a optimalizované reaktory byly testovány jako nanosprejové špičky pro identifikaci proteinů pomocí CE-ESI/TOF-MS.
