  • The paper deals with using lamellar silicates for anticorrosive barrier coatings. By depositing a ferric oxide layer on a silicite particle a novel pigment is obtained, which being applied to coatings improves the anticorrosive properties and acts as an active barrier pigment. The fillers were applied to coatings and the anticorrosion and physicomechanical properties were evaluated
