Description	The paper is concerned with the trade contacts between Prague and Cracow Jewish merchants at the Age before the Battle at White Mountain, with focus on the last quarter of the 16th century. It summarizes research conducted in Czech and foreign archives and it emphases origins of family relations and later even trade relations between members of Prague and Cracow Jewish communities. The topic of mutual trade between Prague and Cracow (Poland) is research based on Cracow customs declaration indexes, which are statistically evaluated. The paper brings information about intensity and quality of relations between Christian and Jewish merchants of both cities and their change in time, forms and organisations of trade and everyday activities of early new age merchants on the road.
