Description	The article describes a simple, yet useful tool for the optimization of mixed raw materials in order to obtain a mixture of required characteristics at minimum cost. The point of departure is a mathematical notation and its solution by a linear programming algorithm in combination with Excel and its functions which allow us to generalize the problem and develop a model applicable to any mixing problem assignment.
