  • V současné době vzhledem k rychlému výzkumu a vývoji se stále častěji využívá pro nosné prvky sklo. Na rozdíl od materiálů běžně používaných, které mohou dosáhnout plastické deformace, se chová pružně až do porušení křehkým lomem. Z tohoto důvodu je při navrhování nosných prvků ze skla důležitý návrh detailů a jejich provedení. Pro sklo jako křehký materiál je pro návrh jeho přípojů rozhodující spolupůsobení spojovacích prostředků, jejich tolerance a technologické podmínky. Příspěvek je zaměřen na experimentální analýzu šroubového spoje namáhaného smykem pomocí fotoelasticimetrické metody. (cs)
  • This paper describes bolted connections of glass structures. Glass is frequently bolted to steel structures. Contrary to common materials, which can reach plasticity, glass behaves elastically until it breaks by a brittle fracture. This is the reason why connections should be designed with great care. The main question for this type of connection is to determine the state of stress and the level, to which the forces of individual bolts act together. The photoelastic reflecting method was used to investigate stress redistribution around the bolts. This is very important because we still have little knowledge of procedures and design rules in glass structures.
