  • One of the basic characteristics of railway track is its rigidity, which depends on the railway substructure and railway permanent way construction. Bearing capacity at the upper surface of sleeper and on formation level is represented by modulus of deformability. The results of on-site and laboratory measurement are presented it this paper. The aim of solution is to find eventual relation between the continuous rigidity of track and its bearing capacity. (en)
