  • Highly metastatic and nonmetastatic cells were compared in the level of Rho/ROCK signaling. The metastatic cells exhibited up-regulation of this signaling, which leads to increased ivasion, increased cytoskeletal dynamis, and increased tractions at the leading edge of the cells. Even the cells of mesenchymal origin can use the ameboid mode of invasion in dependence on the Rho/ROCK signalling.

  • Srovnávali jsme úroveň signálu Rho/ROCK ve vysoce metastatických buňkách a v parentálních buňkách bez metastázovací aktivity. Metastatické buňky vykazují vyšší úroveň signálu Rho/ROCK společně se zvýšenou dynamikou cytoskeletu a zvýšenou tažnou silou vodicí lamely. Ukazuje se tedy, že i buňky mesenchymálního původu jsou schopny améboidního pohybu, který je pro mesenchym netypický, v závislosti na signálu přes Rho/ROCK. (cs)
