Description
| - Groups occupationally exposed to 1,3-butadiene (BD), acrylonitrile, ethyl benzene and benzene in petrochemical industry, and carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (c-PAHs) from ambient air were followed both by conventional cytogenetic analysis and FISH painting for chromosomes # 1 and # 4, in total 383 subjects, including controls. The findings indicate that the method FISH with whole chromosome painting seems to be more sensitive to detect chromosomal injury by occupational exposure to carcinogens than the conventional method

- Byly sledovány skupiny osob profesionálně exponované 1,3-butadienu (BD), akrylonitrilu, etylbenzenu a benzenu v petrochemickém průmyslu, a osoby exponované karcinogenním polycyklickým aromatickým uhlovodíkům (c-PAU) z ovzduší. Celkem bylo sledováno 383 osob, včetně kontrol, metodou konvenční cytogenetické analýzy a metodou FISH (barvení chromosomů 1 a 4). Výsledky ukazují, že metoda FISH se zdá být citlivější pro detekci poškození chromosomů při profesionální expozici než konvenční metoda (cs)
