| - V oblasti mezi JV Bavorskem a horním Rakouskem se stýkaji areály druhů čolků Triturus cristatus a T. carnifex. Jejich areály jsou úzce sympatrické a předpokládala se hybridni zóna mezi oběma druhy. Ve studii 35 autochtonních populací porovnaváme rozšíření a možnou hybridizaci druhu na základě morfologických (Wolterstorffův index) a dvou molekularních (cytochrom b, mikrosatelity) znaků. Výsledky morfologických a molekulárních znaků byly ve shodě u většiny populací. Populace se známkami introgrese byly zjištěny ve třech oblastech u Salcburku a v horním Rakousku. Hybridní zóna byla vytvořena jednou geneticky odlišnou populací T. carnifex a dvěma populacemi T. cristatus. (cs)
- In the area between south-eastern Bavaria (Germany) and Upper Austria the distribution ranges of northern (Triturus cristatus) and Italian crested newts (T. carnifex) are narrowly sympatric and a hybrid zone has been suggested on the basis of morphological data. In our study of 35 autochthonous populations in this region, we compared distribution patterns and hybridization on the basis of one morphological (Wolterstorff index, WI) and two molecular (cytochrome b, microsatellites) markers. Results showed good concordance for all markers in most populations. We detected admixed populations and individuals in three regions of Salzburg and Upper Austria. Hybrid zones in the study region were most probably formed by one genetically different T. carnifex population and two different T. cristatus populations.
