Description	Chemorezistence ovariálních karcinomových buněk je hlavní překážkou efektivního léčení ovariálních i jiných nádorů. V této studii byl hodnocen efekt Hsp90 inhibitoru Geldanamycinu samostatně nebo v kombinaci s cisplatinou v cisplatina rezistentní buněčné linii A2780cis. Výsledky prokázaly pokles Akt exprese a arrest v S fázi buněčného cyklu v závislosti na působení Geldanamycinu. Kombinované působení Geldanamycinu a cisplatiny vedlo k více než aditivnímu cytotoxickému efektu. The effect of Hsp90 inhibitor Geldanamycin was evaluated alone and in combination with cisplatin in cisplatin resistant cell line A2780cis. Results showed depletion of Akt expression and S-phase arrest after Geldanamycin treatment. Combined exposure of A2780 cells to Geldanamycin and cisplatin resulted in greater than additive cytotoxic effect.
