Description	Analýza obrazu sagitálních řezů žaberními destičkami diploidního a triploidního lína obecného Tinca tinca ukázala, že difuzní vzdálenost mezi krví a vodou u diploidů (2.07 µm) je významně vyšší než u jejich triploidních sourozenců (1.46 µm; P < 0.01). Žaberní destičky diploidů byly ve srovnání s triploidy významně kratší (105.84 v. 132.11 µm) a tlustší (18.47 v. 14.21 µm; vše při P < 0.05), ale s podobnou průměrnou plochou průřezu destičkou (1965.44 v. 1910.86 µm2).
