(cs) This paper present the mathematical model of gas-liquid counter-current packed bed column and solves it numerically for conditions of high gas-liquid flow interactions. The results of the solutions exhibiting the overshoots of both liquid holdup, pressure profile and pressure drop are then presented. Some of the results are the compared with the experimentally observed overshoots.
