  • Odpřahující protein UCP2 je přítomen v jaterních mitochondriích v minimálním množství. Jeho množství se zvyšuje po indukci lipopolysacharidem. Na rozdíl od kontrolních mitochondrií, stimulované mitochondrie vykazují nižší membránový potenciál a v nepřítomnosti mastných kyselin a pomocí GDP se u nich zvyšuje produkce H2O2 (cs)
  • Rat liver mitochondria contain a negligible amount of uncoupling protein UCP2. It´s amount increases after stimulation by Lipopolysaccharide. Moreover, H2O2 production is increased by GDP only in mitochondria of LPS-stimulated rats with or without fatty acids and carboxyatractyloside, and stimulated mitochondria exhibited lower membrane potential
