Description
  • Using 1H and 13C NMR and DFT calculations, interaction of tetrapropoxy-4-tert-butylcalix[4]arene with H3O+ ions was examined. It was shown that an equimolecular complex between the two components is readily formed in nitrobenzene at room temperature. The ion is bound to the aryl-oxygen atoms. Exchange between the bound and free ion measured by NMR is quite fast, the correlation time being 0.13 ms.

Bylo ukázáno, že se vytváří ekvimolekulární komplex mezi oběma komponentami za normální teploty v nitrobenzenu. Iont je vázán silnými vodíkovými vazbami k aryloxy- kyslíkovým atomům. Výměna mezi vázaným a volným iontem, měřená NMR, je rychlá, korelační čas výměny je 0,13 ms. (cs)
