  • Biologically active compounds (cytotoxicity, trypsin and acetylcholinesterase inhibitors) were detected in water blooms on Lake Ladoga for the first time. HPLC/DAD/MS analyses of extracts of samples from the lake demonstrated high diversity of bioactive compounds including hepatotoxic cyclic peptides microcystins and planktopeptins, enzyme inhibitors, and a series of unidentified bioactive substances. The results obtained indicate anthropogenic eutrophication of Lake Ladoga and a decrease in water quality. The data are of particular importance because lake is used as the only source of drinking water for the city of St. Petersburg

  • Biologicky aktivní látky (cytotoxické, inhibitory trypsinu a acetylcholinesterasy) byly poprvé stanoveny ve vodním květu Ladožského jezera . Výsledky analýz pomocí HPLC/DAD/MS jasně demonstrují velkou diverzitu biologicky aktivních látek včetně hepatotoxických cyklických peptidů mikrocystinů nebo planktopeptínů, různých inhibitorů enzymů a dalších neidentifikovaných látek. Výsledky prokazují eutrofizaci jezera vlivem působení člověka s následným zhoršením kvality vody. Tyto data jsou významné především z toho důvodu, že toto jezero je využíváno jako jediný zdroj pitné vody pro Petrohrad (cs)
