Description	The pollination of the non-rewarding Orchis pauciflora was studied. The most abundant visitors were B. terrestris queens. The fragrance of O. pauciflora inflorescence was dominated by (E)-beta-farnesene. (E)-2,3-dihydrofarnesol and geranylcitronellol, compounds present also in the male marking pheromone of B. terrestris, were minor components of the flower scent. Chemical similarities between orchid and bumble bees are discussed in the connection with possible pollination strategy of the orchid. Nejčastějšími návštěvníky květů byly královny čmeláka zemního. V květní vůni orchideje dominoval (E)-beta-farnesen. Mezi minoritními složkami byl identifikován (E)-2,3-dihydrofarnesol a geranylcitronellol, látky přítomné v samčím značkovacím feromonu čmeláka zemního. Je diskutována chemická podobnost v signálech orchideje a feromonu čmeláka v souvislosti s možnou opylovací strategií studované orchideje. (cs)
