  • The heat capacity and the heat content of indium nitride were measured by Calvet calorimetry (305-390 K) and by drop calorimetry (427-774 K). The temperature dependence of the heat capacity in the form C-pm = 43.886 + 8.194 x 10(-3)T - 1.007 x 10(6)T(-2) +8.353 x 10(7)T(-3)(J K-1 mol(-1)) was derived by the least squares method from the experimental data. Furthermore, the standard molar entropy S-m(0) (298 K) = 42.51 J K-(1) mol(-1) was assessed taking into account the recently reported phonon density of states, low temperature C-pm and the current data. Thermodynamic functions calculated on the basis of our results and literature data on the heat of formation of InN are given..

  • Tepelné kapacity a entelpie indium nitridu byly měřeny tepelně vodivostní (Calvet) kalorimetrií (305-390 K) a vhazovací kalorimetrií (427-774 K). Teplotní závislost tepelné kapacity ve tvaru C-pm = 43.886 + 8.194 x 10(-3)T - 1.007 x 10(6)T(-2) +8.353 x 10(7)T(-3)(J K-1 mol(-1)) byla získána statistickým zpracováním experimentálních dat metodou nejmenších čtverců. Dále byla odhadnuta standarní molární entropie S-m(0) (298 K) = 42.51 J K-(1) mol(-1) na základě nedávno publikovaných %22phonon density of states%22, nízko teplotních C-pm dat z literatury a zde publikovaných dat. Termodynamické funkce počítané na základě našich výsledků a literárních údajů o slučovacích entalpiích IrN jsou rovněž uvedeny. (cs)
