Description
  • The article discusses the relation between the quality of digital spatial data and the reliability of decision-making processes, which involve digital spatial data. Based on own research, the method of quality evaluation of geographic databases of information systems is suggested, in which not only the production-technological questions are assessed, but also their utility value. Simultaneously, also the possibilities of the production plant to guarantee sustainable state of completeness and updated information of spatial databases are assessed. Based on the above mentioned authors' research, the method of geographic databases utility values is proposed. The system for utility value improvement, concerning the task to be solved is described. The expenses for data collection and data management are considered.
