Description
  • Based on SEM and TEM observations, the surface structures and gland cells of the posterior rosette organ of Gyrocotyle urna, a member of the group presumed to be the most basal of the tapeworms (Cestoda: Gyrocotylidea), has been studied. Surface structures on the outer and inner rosette surfaces differ from each other and represent a transitional form between microvilli and microtriches typical of tapeworms (Eucestoda). The ventral surface of the rosette possesses numerous glands. On the basis of the size and electron-density of their secretory granules, three types of unicellular gland cells can be distinguished.

  • Pomocí skanovací a transmisní elektronové mikroskopie byla studována ultrastruktura zadního rozetovitého orgánu Gyrocotyle urna, zástupce pravděpodobně evolučně nejstarší skupiny tasemnic (Cestoda: Gyrocotylidea). Povrchové struktury vnějšího a vnitřního povrchu rozety se navzájem liší a představují přechodný typ mezi mikrovily a mikrotrichy, které jsou typické pro evolučně odvozenější tasemnice. Ventrální povrch rozety obsahuje četné žlázky, které mohou být na základě své velikosti a struktury sekrečních granul rozděleny do tří typů. (cs)
