  • Heritability estimates with a microsatellite parentage assignment based pedigree are of special interest in common carp cultured under traditional pond conditions. This method reduces common environment effects as all families can be grown immediately after hatching mixed in the same pond.   • Odhadu heritability s využitím mikrosatelitních márkerů k sestavení rodokmenu je v současné době u kapra obecného věnována velká pozornost. Tato metoda umožňuje minimalizaci vlivu prostředí, protože všechny rodiny mohou být chovány hned od počátku ve společné obsádce v jednom rybníce. My jsme tento postup použili pro studium genetického pozadí růstu a ukazatelů jatečné výtěžnosti u kapra obecného v tržní velikosti (1,5 kg a více). Pokusné potomstvo bylo založeno výtěrem 147 dvouletých samců a 8 samic (šesti-osmi letých) maďarské syntetiské linie. Ryby rostly v rybnících po 3 vegetační sezóny a na konci byl vybrán vzorek 331 ryb ke stanovení biometrických ukazatelů (délka těla, hmotnost, index délky hlavy, index tělesné výšky, index širokohřbetosti), procenta svalového tuku, a výtěžnostních ukazatelů (podíl opracovaného trupu, podíl filetů s kůží a bez kůže). Bylo zjištěno, že pohlaví mělo na sledované ukazatele výrazný vliv: samice byly větší a tučnější než samci a vykazovaly také vyšší podíly jedlých (cs)
