Description
  • The paper deals with modeling and design sensitivity of perforated plates which interact with acoustic waves. Transmission conditions were derived using the homogenization approach applied to treat vibroacoustic interactions in a ficticious layer in which the plated is embedded. The plate deformation are considered to obey the Reissner-Mindlin theory whereby only a simple type of periodic perforations is admitted. The homogenized model of the transmission is presented and the sensitivity analysis with respect to changing shape of the holes is derived.
