Description
  • The paper deals with an usage of modal synthesis method in mathematical modelling of rotating bladed disk vibration. The model is formed by three-dimensional elastic disk and one-dimensional elastic blades connected together at the top with shrouding. By using finite element method there are limits to degree of freedom number, because the size of the forenamed model is too computational expensive for optimization and identification tasks. The presented approach is based on the modal analysis of bladed disk subsystems and then by using modal synthesis method we can create sufficient condensed bladed disk model which has significantly reduced degrees of freedom number. The different level of model condensation is applied to the modal analysis of the real rotating bladed disk.
