Description
  • The magnetocaloric effect becomes a principle of various prospective technologies. One of them is magnetic cooling, that is a way of cooling without any negative acompanying aspects (greenhouse effect, deterioration of the ozone layer etc.). The paper deals with the generation of magnetic field in the domain where the magnetocaloric effec is realized. Evaluated are possibilities of using permanent magnets. The theoretical analysis is illustrated by an example whose results are discussed.
