Description
  • The paper deals with application of lamellar fillers in zinc rich coatings. The metal zinc particles are broadly used pigment for anticorrosive coatings since a series of years ago. The morphology, PVC and particle size distribution of metal zinc affect the electrochemical mechanism in the coating. The lamellar particle shapes of calcined silicite, kaolin, falc or mica affect the value of optimum volume concentration especially the adhesion-barrier and anticorrosive properties by synergic effect with zinc powder particles in organic coating.
