Description
| - Pšenice je na území České republiky tradičně velmi důležitou plodinou. Pšeničná mouka je používána jako hlavní komponenta, ve směsi s žitnou, pro pekařské účely. Proto je pekařská kvalita hodnocena velmi pečlivě. Pro další zlepšování kvality zrna a výnosového potenciálu jsou důležité genetické zdroje pšenice. Uchování a hodnocení vzorků pšenice má v České republice i dřívějším Československu velmi dlouhou tradici. Kolekce genetických zdrojů pšenice zahrnuje široké spektrum druhů. Hodnocení každého vzorku probíhá po 2 - 3 roky. Vzorky semen jsou uchovány v zařízení genové banky v aktivní a základní kolekci při -5 °C resp. -18 °C. Všechna data (pasportní, popisná i údaje o skladování) jsou uchovávána v národním dokumentačním systému EVIGEZ. (cs)
- Wheat is traditionally very important crop on the territory of the Czech Republic. Wheat flour is used as a main component, in mixture with rye flour, for baking purposes. That is why bread-making quality is evaluated very carefully. For further improvement of grain quality and yield potential they are important wheat genetic resources. Maintenance and evaluation of wheat accessions in the Czech Republic and former Czechoslovakia have very long tradition. The collection of wheat genetic resources covers wide spectra of species. Evaluation of each accession takes place for 2 – 3 years. Seed samples are maintained in gene bank facility in active and base collections under -5 °C and -18 °C respectively. All data (passport, description and storage) on wheat collection are kept in the national central documentation system EVIGEZ.
