Description	Zjistit,zda se steroidní hormony a jejich receptory mohou podílet na regulaci exprese genů řídících apoptózu,proliferaci a difenciaci gliálních buněk, a tak přispívat ke vzniku nebo rozvoji maligních nádorů mozku. Studium efektu derivátů steroidů a příbuzných přirozených i syntetických látek,které jako ligandy příslušných receptorů mohou ovlivňovat růst,diferenciaci nebo programovanou buněčnou smrt gliálních buněk in vitro. Pomocí Western blot analýzy,fluorimetrické DNA assay,MTT testu,transfekčních experimentů a aplikaci %22antisense%22 nukleotidů mají být analyzovány regulační dráhy souvisejícíc s expresí a aktivitou příslušných receptorů. Pozornost bude věnována expresi tzv.%22orphan%22jaderných receptorů v souvislosti s aplikací jejich syntetických ligandů.Výsledky projektu by mohly sloužit jako teoretický podklad pro potenciální využití testovaných látek v léčbě gliálních nádorů mozku. To nalyse the regulatory pathways related to the expression and activity of steroid receptors by the methods of Western blotting,fluorimetric DNA assay,MTT test,transfection and the %22anti-sense%22 nucleotide technique. Interest will be focused on the expression of the %22orphan%22 receptors in relation to aplication of their synthetic ligands.The results of the project will perhaps serve as a theoretical basis for the potencial therapeutic use of the studied moleculles in (en)
