  • V rámci charakterizování vlivu sumoylace na vlastnosti proteinu Lif1 jsme identifikovali lysin, na kterém dochází ke konjugaci, a testovali vliv DNA a E3 ligáz na jeho sumoylaci. Analýza pomocí 2-hybridního systému ukázala vliv sumoylace na oligomerizaci Lif1 proteinu a naše výsledky naznačují, že sumoylace Lif1 snižuje účinnost nehomologního spojování konců a představuje nový regulační element.   • During characterization of the role of Lif1 sumoylation we have identified main conjugation lysine and tested the effect of DNA and E3 ligases on its sumoylation. Using 2-hybrid system we have shown the effect of sumoylation on the oligomerization of Lif1 protein and our data indicate that sumoylation down-regulates the efficiency of end joining and represents a new regulatory element.
