Description
  • Nine participants at US universities as well as at National Laboratories propose to join forces with six Czech participants at Universities and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. The participants will provide an interdisciplinary international research and education experience in the general area of nanoscience and renewable energy to undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral students on both sides each year. They will also continue in organising week-long workshops alternating between Colorado and the Czech Republic, with each side supporting 20 participants. The broad impact of this activity is in the education of new cadres of junior scientists familiar with working in international teams and thinking of science globally. (en)
  • Cílem projektu je návrh, příprava a studium nových materiálů nebo individuálních molekul pro využití v oblasti energie a nanotechnologií. Projekt je zaměřen na přenos náboje v molekulách a materiálech a přípravu molekulových rotorů.

  • V rámci projektu byl uspořádán mezinárodní workshop „Conducting Polymers“, kterého se zúčastnilo 58 účastníků a přednášelo 7 předních odborníků. Na českých pracovištích bylo přijato 6 pracovníků z USA a 6 našich pracovníků navštívilo partnery v USA. Bylo splněno všech 8 dílčích úkolů, převážně syntézou nových látek pro použití v nanostrukturách (cs)
  • In the frame of the project an international workshop on “Conducting Polymers” was organized. The workshop was visited by 58 participants, with lectures of 7 top professionals. The Czech institutions were visited by 6 workers from USA and our 6 workers visited the partners in the USA. All the 8 partial goals were fulfilled, mostly by synthesis of new compounds usable in nanostructures. (en)
