| - Experimental basis CANAM (Center of Accelerators and Nuclear Analytical Methods) comprises isochronous cyclotron U-120M including fast neutron laboratory, accelerator Tandetron 4130MC, and neutron laboratories situated at the LWR-15 research reactor (Research Center Řež). Accelerated ions and neutrons represent an indispensable tool in fundamental and applied research in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, power and mechanical engineering and other fields. All CANAM devices are widely used in collaboration with Czech and foreign research institutions for solution of topical research problems. Main aim of the project lies in financial support of the operation and effective usage of this unique research infrastructure by both internal and external users. The support will contribute to invariable operation of the above facilities and their development and modernization, effective employment in basic and interdisciplinary research, training of young scientists and continuation and extension of international collaborations. The project will make possible to shift the current modus operandi of the infrastructure to the more standard level, where the operation of the infrastructure does not depend on a current projects and grants of the research teams, but is rather more linked to a long term research programs. - Výzkumná infrastruktura CANAM (Center of Accelerators and Nuclear Analytical Methods) se sestává z experimentálních pracovišť urychlovače cyklotron U-120M včetně laboratoř rychlých neutronů, urychlovače Tandetron 4130MC a neutronové laboratoře umístěné u reaktoru LVR-15 (Centrum výzkumu Řež s.r.o.). Urychlené ionty a neutrony mají nezastupitelné místo ve fundamentálním a aplikovaném výzkumu ve fyzice, chemii, biologii, medicíně, energetice, strojírenství a dalších oblastech. Všechna experimentální zařízení CANAM jsou široce využívána v národní i mezinárodní spolupráci k řešení aktuálních výzkumných problémů. Cílem projektu je podpora provozu a využití této unikátní výzkumné infrastruktury pro domácí a vnější uživatele. Podpora přispěje k udržení uvedených zařízení v trvalém provozu, jejich průběžnému rozvoji a modernizaci, efektivnímu využití v základním a interdisciplinárním výzkumu, výchově mladých vědeckých pracovníků a tím i a také k pokračování a rozšíření řady domácích i mezinárodních spoluprací a projektů. Projekt umožní přechod od současného modu operandi výzkumné infrastruktury na standardnější základnu, kdy činnost nebude záviset na projektech a grantech výzkumných týmů, ale spíše na dlouhodobých výzkumných programech.
