| - The aim of the Center is to overcome a critical capacity of the participating research groups and to share experience, equipment and the methodology between them. The Center will gain new general findings concerning a structure and reactivity of newly prepared complexes and will create a base of knowledge useful for following more detailed research in this area. - Účelem projektu je prohloubení a zkvalitnění spolupráce mezi pracovišti zabývajícími se problematikou syntézy a charakterizace nových komplexů přechodných kovů a jejich využitím v katalýze. Pozornost je věnována především výzkumu nízkovalentních sloučenin titanu a zirkonia a jejich využití pro oligomerizaci alkenů a alkynů; využití cykloadičních a cykloisomerizačních reakcí alkynů pro syntézu biologicky aktivních a přírodních látek, syntéze nových fluorofilních ligandů a jejich katalyticky aktivních komplexů s přechodnými kovy; studiu nových karbenových a karbynových komplexů potenciálně využitelných v organické syntéze; nových katalytických systémů umožňujícím uskutečnit přechodnými kovy katalyzované reakce za velmi mírných podmínek. Rovněž budou studovány možnosti organokatalýzy katalýzy. Studentům, kteří se projektu zúčastní, se dostane komplexního vzdělání v oblasti chemie komplexů přechodných kovů a jejich praktického využití. Posílí se spolupráce mezi vysokými školami AV ČR.

| - The Research Centre „The structure and synthetic applications of transition metal complexes“ developed new catalysts, based on transition metals, which can be used for the formation and splitting of C-C bonds, cyclization and polymerization reactions. Also new fluorophilic molecules useful for the fluorous biphasic catalysis were synthesized and new synthetic procedures for purines developed. (en)
- Centrum základního výzkumu LC06070 „Struktura a syntetické aplikace komplexů přechodných kovů“ vyvinulo nové katalyzátory na bázi přechodných kovů, které jsou využitelné pro tvorbu a štěpení C-C vazeb a pro cyklizační a polymerační reakce. Byly rovněž syntetizovány nové fluorofilní molekuly vhodné pro fluorovou bifázovou katalýzu. Nově vyvinuté postupy umožňující syntézu analogů purinových bází. (cs)
