| Description
| - In its general part, the project deals with implementation of constitutive models of behaviour of hyperelastic composites into FE program packages and with identification of material parameters of the models from various types of tests. In the specific parts, it deals with 1) two-scale modelling of behaviour of composites elastomer-steel fibre, partly using the anisotropic hyperelastic constitutive models, partly at the level of modelling its structural components, 2) creation of FE models of arterial aneurysms on the base of the above constitutive models and real geometry obtained from CT scans, and proposal of a method for assessment of their rupture risk, 3) debugging and identification of properties of models of mechanical behaviour of cell, considering its structure and enabling us to simulate the transmission of mechanical load from the extra-to intracellular space and onto the nucleus under basic mechanical tests, with the aim to contribute to understanding fundamentals of mechanotransduction, i.e. transmission of mechanical stimuli on a biochemical response.
