  • The plasma motion was computationally investigated with inclusion of non-linear ponderomotive force for the case of a picosecond laser generated plasma on a very thin foil target. It is found that in this case the plasma is accelerated in the form of blocs, which may be considered as suitable drivers for igniting fusion.
