Description
  • For early detection of resistance relapse it is important to follow-up the presence, type and kinetics of BCR-ABL mutation together with the kinetics of BCR-ABL transcript level, which provide more complex data on disease status. We found that the first indicator for mutation analysis in tyrosine kinase inhibitor responders is already the cessation of BCR-ABL decreasing trend, mainly when the BCR-ABL level stops above 0.1%. In patients with suboptimal response, the mutation analysis should be performed three-monthly as recommended for BCR-ABL quantifications according to current guidelines.

  • Pro časnou detekci rezistence na léčbu inhibitory tyrozinových kináz je důležité sledovat přítomnost, typ a kinetiku BCR-ABL mutací spolu s kinetikou celkového transkriptu BCR-ABL, což přináší více kompexní pohled na průběh onemocnění. Zjistili jsme, že první indikací pro analýzu mutací je již zastavení klesajícího trendu BCR-ABL na hladinách vyšších 0.1%. Pacienti odpovídající suboptimálně by měli být testováni na přítomnost mutací každé tři měsíce obdobně, jak je doporučováno pro kvantifikaci BCR-ABL. (cs)
