The submitted project focuses on identifying of biotic agents (xylem- and phloem limited bacteria and phytoplasmas) which are associated with premature dying of grapevines (PDG) on the territory of the Czech Republic. PDG is a threat to economic viability of vineyards everywhere. Up to now, major emphasis in PGV has been directed towards single biotic or abiotic primary causal agent. In our project, the concept of microbial succession will be verified in the sense that several interacting agents concur to result in PDG. Proposed activities comprise investigations on the incidence of PDG in vineyards and grapevine nurseries, sampling, collection and analyses of plant and soil specimens, identification of detected potential pathogens and inoculation experiments to study interactions among various causal agents. This approach will hasten progress in understanding the phenomenon of PDG as well as finding methods of controlling PDG and minimizing the economic losses. (en)
1.Zjistit spektrum prokaryot podílejících se na odumírání révy. 2.Experimentálně ověřit jejich efekt na révu. 3.Zjistit četnost výskytu INA bakterií v xylemu a ověřit jejich spojitost s následnou tumorogenezí. 4.Navrhnout postupy k ozdravění révy.
