| Description
| - The goal of the project is acquiring new knowledge on the properties of water and aqueous mixtures on the basis of the activity of the members of the Czech National Committee on the Properties of Water and Steam (CZ NC PWS) in the working groups of the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS). In particular, the research will include the properties of metastble supercooled water, prediction of thermodynamic properties for aqueous solutions at high temperatures and pressures, determination of the nucleation rate of lets and bubbles in condensation and cavitation processes, new formulations of thermophysical properties of water and aqueous solutions, transport of mass, heat, and charge in PEM fuel cell, determination of the effect of homogeneous and heterogensous condensation processes in power cycles. The project will enable participation of CZ NC PWS members at IAPWS annual meetings and conferences. (en)
- Cílem projektu je dosažení originálních výsledků základního výzkumu o vlastnostech vody a vodných směsí na základě činnosti členů Českého národního komitétu pro vlastnosti vody a vodní páry v pracovních skupinách a řídících strukturách IAPWS.

| - Bylo dosaženo originálních výsledků základního výzkumu o vlastnostech vody a vodných systémů na základě činnosti v pracovních skupinách a řídících strukturách Mezinárodní asociace pro vlastnosti vody a vodní páry (IAPWS). Účastníci projektu participovali v úkolových skupinách zaměřených na termofyzikální vlastnosti, fyzikální chemii a procesy v páře. Velmi úspěšný byl IAPWS Meeting 2011 v Plzni. (cs)
- Original results in the fundamental research of aqueous systems were achieved based on the participation in the working groups and governing structures of the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS). Team members participated in task groups on thermophysical properties, physical chemistry a processes in steam. Very successful was IAPWS Meeting 2011 in Pilsen. (en)
