Project is aimed at the study of changes within the lubrication film pressure distribution in the vicinity of deffects on friction surfaces of mechanical tribological systems (e.g. rolling bearings and gears). Defects, created on rubbing surfaces e.g. bythe indentation of particles due to the contamination of lubricant, function as stress raisers to initiate microcracks on the surface that grow into spalls leading to fatigue failure. Colorimentric interferometry will be used to obtain deformations of rubbing surfaces from measured lubrication film thickness and to calculate the lubrication film pressure distribution. It will enable considering the effect of operational conditions and the defects geometry on surface initiated failure of machine parts.Obtained results will be used to validate current theoretical models and to predict the behaviour of real tribological systems in order to anticipate the failure of machine components. Cílem navrhovaného projektu je studium změn tlakového pole v mazacích filmech v bezprostředním okolí defektů na třecích površích prvků strojních tribologických soustav (např. valivých ložisek či ozubených kol). Defekty, vznikající např. vtiskem pevných částic kontaminovaného maziva pevnými částicemi, působí jako koncentrátory napětí a v důsledku opakovaného cyklického namáhání dochází ke vzniku povrchových trhlin a následnému poškození součásti. Použití kolorimetrické metody umožní z naměřených hodnot rozložení tloušťky mazacího filmu stanovit deformaci třecích povrchů a následně vypočítat tlakové pole v mazacím filmu. Tak bude možné zohlednit vliv provozních podmínek a geometrie defektů třecích povrchů na povrchově iniciované únavové poškození strojních součástí. Získané výsledky umožní ověřit stávající teoretické modely, předvídat chování reálných tribologických soustav a tak předcházet poškozování strojních součástí. (cs)
